We went to the Mill Creek Festival this year with our church and Tony's parents. It was our first time and we really enjoyed it. We had to start the day off with a balloon sword of course.
Then it was off to the fire truck and ambulance. This was also a great hit with Noah since he loves trucks. They let you look and touch all the gadgets and hoses.
We waited our turn and got to sit in the captains seat. Everything was amazingly huge and we were so high off the ground. Noah "drove" the truck and has never been the same. Now whenever he sees the steering wheel, he wants to drive it and press all the buttons. It's pretty cute.
Noah in the ambulance. He went in, bypassed the bed and other chairs for the one that was upfront.

Then it was time for the youngest kids to do the "egg hunt". It wasn't much of a hunt if you ask me, but it was a thrill for the kids.
We got there a few minutes early to scope out a good spot. But it was hard for the kids to hold off until the whistle blew.
But then they were off and amazingly it went very smoothly. It looked disastrous at first, but there were plenty of eggs for everyone so it went well.
