Our Last Week with Grandpa and Mar Mar

This was a sad week for us in a way. We had so much fun with Chris and Mary while our house was being shown for a few weeks. Noah has decided that Grandma is "Mar Mar". It is so funny to hear him say it. I think we all looked forward to it. Each morning we would wake up to it, Mary would go get him and they would have Cheerios and watch Elmo together. At night, Chris would come home and take him to the park across the street or go for rides in the car. So fun. Thank you!!

This morning we were in the backyard, which we got quite fond of, and Noah would race back and forth. He started somehow saying "set,go" and then he would take off. Well it sounds more like "zet, go" but either way it is really cute. So here he is waiting for me to tell him to go.

And we are off. He always looks at his feet when he runs, which usually leads to a header in the grass.

So proud of himself.

After a few runs we are tuckered out.

Chris and Mary went on a fun car trip and occasionally sent some presents in the mail for the boys. This one took the cake though. Noah loved his Daniel Boone outfit. Notice the backwards hat.

Inspecting...Noah had a great time wearing this around. We love it and think it will make a great costume soon!
Here was the hilarious shirt for Zach. He looked so cute in it. Sorry no photo.

Just further proof of how well Zach is doing in the car. If you look close enough you can see he is asleep!
I was parked outside the house with the car running so they would stay asleep. I took a few phone calls and finally had to get them out after a half hour or so. It was just so nice to have the break, I had to document.

More Noah and Zach time. It seems like Noah goes through spurts of wanting time with Zach and right now he is almost obsessed. He asks where he is, he gives him the pacifier, he lets me know when Zach is going "ni ni". It is super sweet, and he also wants to hold him. He kisses and pats him and says "shhh" if he starts to get worked up.
They really are starting to get there own look don't ya think? I will keep taking these here and there just to watch them grow up. They have changed so much already.
I love getting this shot because I don't usually get to see what Zach looks like since he is usually on me in some form. I was just sitting on the couch with Mary and Noah goofing off with the camera and caught some neat shots.
What a stud.

Noah enjoying Mar Mar after his nap.

Noah also loves Henry the dog, but it isn't well received. Henry even nipped at him once. Which is a first. Noah just gives such big, tight hugs it scares him. They will figure it out soon though.
Henry's bandanna from his hair cut. It later went on Noah's doggie.
Here are a few random ones. This was outside with Noah running around. Zach was sitting in the sling facing out to watch all the action.
One Sunday afternoon...
Noah wanting sometime in the sling too. At first I was like no no, you don't want to go in....but then I let him. He liked it. I finished my laundry with him like this but then it was to heavy.

This is the new mi ti sling that Kim made me. We love it since it goes on both shoulders. It is nice for when they get a bit bigger.

Here was Noah around 6 months in the sling. Some things never change. Except his looks...what a super chunk!
