Backyard Camping

Here is the handsome trio. Tony decided to do outdoor camping with the boys. So funny how we have such fond memories of doing these things, then when you are the parents you realize how much work it takes. But the boys had a good time. I'm sure the neighbors weren't to thrilled to hear us most of the night, but it summer right?

Our "campsite".

Noah's first smore experience. Its really a learned art...

After smores we snagged baths and matching outfits. Noah was so concerned because these clothes weren't "pj's". It took some convincing, but finally the trick was to let him know that these are camping pj's since it gets so cold at night. Zach practicing his serious face.

Ahh down time...right?

Noah taking a picture of Zach and I holding Sadie. He says things like "say cheese..ahh that was cute!" He has become quite the copy cat these days.

Doesn't this all just look picturesque? Well this lasted all but a few minutes. But Tony had the brilliant idea of glow sticks. Noah let me know that I needed one so when it gets dark I wont be scared. It didn't matter how many times I told him that Jesus was always with me and I didn't need to be afraid of the dark...he insisted that I did in fact need a glow stick.

Another brilliant Tony idea...you can actually rent movies for your ipod. Who knew? So he thought he was all set once this was rigged to get them to calm down and be able to rest. But I got a phone call at 10:30 saying Zach was crying and wanted to come inside.
But Noah did stay the whole night and was sad when we took it all down the next day.

Good night.

Onto Ms Sadie Jane. She turned 3 months on the 16th. My mind cant even really think about it. It must be a survival mechanism because its so unreal. She is such a go with the flow kinda gal. She has a high pitch squeal and even laughs when I touch her or get close. She is threatening to roll over and gives me wonderful 3 hour naps during the day. This face is what I get all day, even when I'm not looking. Which is really funny. I prop her on her "throne" and she cooks with me and is always amused at what the boys are doing.
Love her smell, her squishy-ness, her smile, her sweet nature, her very presence. She is better than all my dreams could have even imagined it would be like. Its probably a combo of #3, a bit more experienced, her personality and such. I never worried I would "run out of love" with having three, but it has amazed me that my heart has just expanded to an unthinkable size. So blessed by these little faces that stare back at me all day.

Yummy!

She was hanging out while I was cutting the watermelon.

We had the second to the last tee ball game. So amazing how fast this season went. It was fun! I enjoyed it so much more than soccer, but apparently those sign ups are next week. We will see if he does that again. He loves being with the kids and playing, its just a big commitment with 2 others.
Papa and Mor Mor came out to this one. Here Papa and Zach are looking for bugs...which Zach was all for.

I love it when my camera catches a picture in this light. Not sure how it does that or why, but it looks so neat. My dad saying hi to Sadie and Zach was in his element.

A little pre game hang out.

Mor Mor snatched this little one for snuggles right away! Sadie loved it and fell asleep on her the rest of the game.

We are still having a great time on this water slide. Amazing what the kids come up with to do on it. I love how it has brought all the neighbors out of their homes to join in. Here is one of the moms who came out with cookies for the kids!

Here is our neighbors grandma and Zach watching the action.

Warming up.

Picture of the week. A little monkey see, monkey do...but this one is a bit unusual. Even for us! I was taking the picture so fast, while holding Sadie so you can see my finger in the way!
