Zach's 3rd Birthday

A party it twas!! Arg! Zach decided on a pirate theme and it was a blast! As usual, Tony thought of some great ideas which included hiring a pirate. I am not the type to go for such things but it turned out to be the best since it was wet and raining outside. The kids were entertained with face painting, a magic show and balloons. We had about 40 people and kids sardined in the house and it was a blast.

Zach trying on his outfit in the early morning hours.

The pirates are ready! You can sorta see the streamers Tony hung. I wish I had taken more pictures of the cool table with the treasure chest gift boxes. The things that slip my mind these days.

My pirate with his face painted! Zach just sat there like a champ and went 1st. Just closed his eyes and turned out with a beard, a scar and an eye patch. He loved every second of it.

Noah went second and did NOT want a scar, a beard, or a mustache. So a bandanna and eye patch would do. P.S. his lips are pink from his sucker...not lipstick.

They boys done up!

Some of the girls got all pretty!

Zach volunteered for a balloon show...

And ended up with this!

Sadie wanted to join in the pirate fun too! There are many other pictures that wonderful friends took and gave us. I, however, do not have the time to organize them and place them on a blog. Its sad really, but very true. All in all, it was great fun and we are over joyed Zach has made it to his 3rd bday. Everyday is a blessing with this kid!

Noah, like his dad, is really into parties. He also remembers all the details. Before his school got out, they made cards and gifts for dads day. Then for a few weeks we had it hidden so Tony wouldnt find it. And sure enough the morning of, Noah remembered and set it out for Tony.

It was such a sweet card and gift.

A stepping stone with marbles in it!

We ended the day with baths. One of the gifts Zach got was a shaving kit for the tub. Can we say Home Alone?!

Noah has loved it so much that he asks to take a bath alone, then sets up each item. The mirror, shave brush, the shaver and cream. Then takes his time doing each thing. Holding the mirror and shaving each piece off. Hilarious.

And of course, to top it all off with a cherry, his new spider man hoodie towel. Yes and yes. Noah actually cried when Zach didn't want to share it the first time he used it. Happy Birthday buddy! We are looking forward to another great year!
