Last week we headed out camping. This year we splurged and went for the trailer. We rented one and boy was it awesome. I loved several things about it. Running water is always a bonus, especially in the form of a shower. So great to get the kids cleaned up before bed. The tub was black each day so I was thankful. Then the toilet. Yay! We saw so many families walking the little kids to and from the bathroom multiple times a day. We always offered ours up to whomever if it would help, but to have it at our convenience was perfect. The last great thing was the prep before and the tear down at the site is so much easier. We stuffed the trailer the night before and once we got there, there was only a few things to take out of it. Which made pick up great. So all in all, we may never "tent" camp outside of our backyard again.
But here are some of the kids. It was an all church camp out so it was so great to have the kids running around to everyones site all day. Defiantly kept them busy!

Zach and Reese doing the marshmallow thing.

Noahs turn!

Each night Tony set it up for all the kids to do smores and watch a movie. It was quite slick and everyone enjoyed it.

Everyone making smores and treats. You can see the Christmas lights in this picture. Tony thought to bring them and hang them and it made for great atmosphere.

Next morning. Pretty cold out. Dropped to the 40's so some people were chilly in the morning. We were just great with our heated and A/C compatible unit. :)

Doing some breakfast of pancakes and eggs and sausages.

Sadie had a rough go for sleeping. It was tight sleeping so she was waking up to every sound we made. Finally she slept when we went for a small hike. Zach and I had to cut out when he fell and hit the back of his head. It was a good thud and we needed to ice it and get some Tylenol. But Sadie was a happy girl after this face smooshing snooze.

Later, we all went out to the HUGE field and had a major water balloon fight. It was almost 80 so it was nice.

Jesseca pelted Zach. Poor Zach giving me a peace sign just before he is soaked. I laugh so hard at this because Jesseca asked if I wanted an action shot, so I didnt realize she was going to really throw it! Im such a bad mom, but I laugh each time I see it.

Noah pulled out the big guns. There is Tony in the back round. Some have buckets of water. It was about 10 minutes of total chaos!

After Sadie took a break in her chair with her water bottle. She was a trooper through the whole weekend. Just a love. We look forward to going again!

When we got home the kids ran upstairs and played so well together. It was quiet all day while I did laundry and such. When I peaked in at one point they were shoving Sadie in the laundry basket with pillows...um...yea. I did what any mother would do, which is snap a picture, then break it up.
