Mom and Doug have owned and enjoyed a cabin in Hood Canal for about 17 years. My grandma also had enjoyed the area ever since she was a teenager so we knew this would be the perfect place to have a family memorial service for her and spread her ashes.
Doug and Noah had some fun times together. Especially when Noah would tilt his head to the side, Doug would imitate him and Noah loved it. They did this several times over the weekend. It was so cute!
We all gathered at the end of the dock, said a few words and spread her ashes. It was a very peaceful and beautiful time of remembrance for her. The weather co-operated for us, and as we left the sun broke out for a few moments.
We didn't waste anytime starting the big family brunch. The ladies started the waffles and eggs and sausage.
While the boys enjoyed watching the basketball game.

Here are some fun snapshots of Ali and Sky with Noah
As always we would like to end our blog with the newest Spencer and Noah bit. Noah is semi mobile now and really likes the doggie toys. Just as Noah gets it, Spencer likes to snatch it away. It is so cute to watch because Spencer is really careful and enjoys the play time. Noah loves the dog and the interaction plus he is learning a little cause and effect I think. I grab funny toy, dog takes it away...
Here is Noah in action. He pushes himself so well now with his toes. He gets a little scoot going. He also is now tucking his knees under so we are counting the days now until he is on the move!! We have already started baby proofing which is turning out to be a pain. Especially since I have to remove a plastic plug every time I vacuum!!
