Noah's 1st Bday!

Noah's First Birthday!!
Can you even believe the little guy is one already? We celebrated over the weekend with many family and friends. I regret to say however, that my camera died at the WORST possible time and therefore I have had to rely on others pics. Either way, we had a great time.
Here is Noah with his first birthday card from Grandma Therese and Grandpa Paul!

The morning of was very wet. Tony was optimistic and we began to set up chairs outside.

Tony starting to set up. Little by little the sun began to show and we started to get very exited for everyone to come.

I was only able to capture a few attendees unfortunately, but nonetheless, here is a good friend of ours, Mrs. Ellen.

My brother Sky with Great Grandma Dunn. Noah is her 17th grandchild.

Fortunately for us, the sun did come out and Tony got everyone involved in some fun games. One of which was "Pin The Tail On The Donkey"

Here Aunt Jill goes in for the kill..

Then Papa...

Many of you also joined in the fun, and here are the results. There were two very close ones, but in the end it was Ben, Ali's fiance' who won!

Then the gunny sack races began. This was tricky since the grass was so wet but no one seemed to mind. Scott (in red) proved to be the fastest!

Then onto the water balloon toss. Everyone got involved. Tony manned the players to make sure no one was cheating, which is definitely possible with some of our family. This was won by Cameron and Jeff. Way to go guys!!

Then as we finished, it started to rain like crazy so we all smooshed inside for pulled chicken and pork sandwiches and salads. Then onto the bday cake. This was a little tricky. Tony and I added the blue, yellow and green sprinkles to give the cake some color. But we all enjoyed eating it!

Noah didn't want to sit in his chair to eat the cake, so he shoved his little yellow ducky in it instead and slurped frosting off of that instead.

We then moved onto the MANY presents. Noah loves them all. He goes to one, then see's another and goes to that one. I will need to hide some I think and let him enjoy them one at a time.

But one of his favorites, is his "little puppy". Uncle Nick and Brittney gave him this. And since he is such a dog lover, this is great. He walks it all over while it squeaks and makes barking noises.
Spencer isn't so sure of it yet!

One of Tony's frat buddies gave Noah this little helmet, but since it was too small for his head Tony put it on the dog....

In other news, I gave Noah a lipstick to play with to distract from the fact that he was in a car seat, once we got home we realized why he was being so good! He has opened in and shoved his fingers inside and eaten some of it. It was everywhere!

We also have a great neighbor named Bruce and he has a tractor and volunteered to move out some brush for Noahs new play set. That will be in a future blog....stay tuned!
