The Evergreen State Fair
Tony insisted on winning a prize. I think over 10 bucks went into this one, but it wasn't until the balloon popping event that he won a small blue whale. Way to go!
Noah enjoyed looking at all the animals. We saw goats and baby piggies, and of course cows.
It got dark really quickly, and we were all pretty tuckered out. Especially since we were waking up the next morning for the beach!!
The Beach House
First we went to Freeland for the antique show. This was so fun especially since Tony has decided to collect old lanterns for the backyard. He got 3 while we were here.
The neighbors loved seeing Noah and brought over their play set. Unfortunately, Noah didn't take to it. Bummer. Maybe next time.
He did, however take to the sand....
Here we are seeing what sand feels like in our mouth...
Tom and Patty came over for a visit and Noah quickly had him reading also. They also enjoyed playing "touchdown" with Noah. This is Patty, Mary and Noah.
Cousin Lindsey got in the fun also. Her and Noah really had fun playing over the weekend.
There also was a fishing derby over the weekend. Tony got his license and I just jumped in for a few tries. Tony has tried for 3 years to get one, so we were really hoping this would be the year.
The next morning we woke early and tried again. Noah and I went inside for breakfast, and just then Tony was standing there with a fish! The jury is still out....:)
Way to Go Tony!
Noah loves this water bottle and walks around with it all time. It is really cute.
It was so nice one evening we took Noah and Spender out for a walk...when Spencer pooped out, we put him in the under carriage. He loves it there!
This is a hammer that Noah also totally loves to take around and eat.
And finally, on our afternoon walk in the backyard, Noah discovered that Spencer loves leaves as much as he does. So once Noah gets them, Spencer grabs it and runs off. This is very funny to Noah so we do it over and over again!
