The Family Reunion!

Once a year we trek up to Leavenworth and stay in one huge cabin for the weekend. It is always so much fun and the weather was perfect. We could not however, go without the guitar hero. It was so much fun and almost everyone tried it and liked it. Even Joli took a stab at it!

Go Joli, Go Joli!

And our little Noah had to get in on it all too. He started to go over to it on his own and put the strap around his head and then try to touch the keys. He is very observant now-a-days.
We even enjoyed some snow time. After Noah took a huge nap and ate, we thought this would make for the perfect time to take him sledding.
We showed him how it is done and smiled and laughed....and then he cried.

So we thought to bag the hill and just go for a scoot around the parking lot with Papa. Here he is crying and upset.

The verdict is still out that maybe it is the snow suit.
So we handed the kid over to the grandparents and took off on snow shoes for a bit around the area. Jill, Paul, Sky, Tony and I were off. It was such a pretty evening.

I stopped to pose for a picture and Tony took my down. I didn't even have snow pants on!! But I would say from this picture that there is a clear winner. :)

Finally our pic.

Great Grandma Lil even joined in the fun this year. She also got out and did some snowshoeing! Go Grandma. But the main focus was this crazy puzzle that Jill brought. It was soo hard. I think everyone at one point worked on it. Towards the end almost everybody was huddled around it for like 2 hours.

At the end Tony and Sky wanted this neat picture taken of the final piece being placed.
We also play a fun game with quarters every year and Joli always bring some fun things to wear and this year it was crazy lips!! Hilarious.
One table of players posing for the camera.
Brittney, Grandma and Ali were the final three left. Ali ended up winning it all...for the third year in a row!! $75 bucko's. I think she is cheating and next year must be eliminated from the contest she is just too good.
Thankfully Jessica was able to cut Noah's hair!! It was soo long and wild. Dad held him, Jessica cut, and I fed him bits of a chocolate chip cookie to keep him still.

It turned out great! I was so happy to finally get it done. He just looks so much older now!
This was fun also. We all huddled around the big screen to watch the hawks loose. It was a good time, Noah really gets into it. He get tense and points and the screen and says a bunch of jumble while waving his arms. Very cute. One day my computer will download a video and you can see it.

We are still very interested in climbing into chairs. This kept us busy for some time.
Here he is again. Notice all the people in the back round working on the puzzle!!
