Boys At Play

I know what you are thinking...you are thinking...not another blog of her two boys playing...but in all honesty, that's my days right now. And they are way to adorable not to. Soon I will have the time to venture into some of my favorite things..but for now, it's these two.
So, on this particular afternoon, I was getting the house picked up and Zach had just woken up from a nap and Noah wasted no time jumping in to play with him as always...along with "doggie" of course. So I lay Zach down to hang out and Noah puts doggie on his back and continually says.."mamma! Horsee" (that is how he says horse). To be honest, Noah was even being a bit rough in his excitement, but Zach loved it and smiled and laughed the entire time. I had so many pictures of it, that I narrowed it down to this sequence of events.
Doggie placed on Zach's back for the horsee ride.
Noah checking for correct placement and full corporation of the involved parties.

Making sure Zach is fully aware of the magnitude of the responsibly of being "hor-see" to the "doggie"

Zach's first trial run was a success! Zach was just loving his brother!
Noah so very proud of his accomplishment in training Zach.
Zach is also getting so good at tummy time. He rolls over and now he is getting the idea of going from tummy to back. Which I think is the toughest part of all. Check out the Elvis lip...
I think the bum shot is quite cute, but besides that, I wanted to capture his efforts to get those knees under the tummy. To do so he mashes his face into the carpet, grunts and huffs, and up the buns go and in the knees go. I can't imaging trying to do this now, let alone at 5 months.

Such a sweet moment when it was all over. I actually teared up a bit when I made this B&W. I can't wait to frame this one. Noah is so sweet with him. He wants to know when Zach is napping, awake, diaper changes, eating, if he has his shoes and blanket...he even picks out his clothes for him.
After Noah saw me taking so many pictures, he needed to try. So he went and placed his Woody doll on the chair and by himself took this picture. He is really coming into his own. He loves all sports. He is constantly playing and catching a football and asking everyone to play "set,go's". Which is where you run around the house in a pre-designated circle, yelling "touchdown". If you veer off this path he is very quick to remind you that you are to go "this way". He also has begun the adventures of potty training. I decided to give it a whirl. And after just a few days, he has had minimal accidents, and does both as long as I initiate. So, we are far from done, but he doesn't need a diaper at home, so that is a great start!

Here are some random ones as always. Here is Mr. Smiley man. This is an outfit that some friends gave us and he looked so big and handsome, I had to document.

Okay, so I had Tony take Noah while I had some ladies over a few weekends ago, and he went to Fred Meyer to kill some time and came home with this. Guns and a cowboy hat that Noah puts on sideways. Hilarious. In fact, Noah and Tony were found asleep in the car when everyone left and he was wearing his hat. It was funny.

Tony took out his trumpet after a 5 year stint of collecting dust because he was asked to play in the Christmas Eve service. It was kinda sweet to see the two of them together. Noah of course wanted in on every step.

Tony's little protege'.

The boys starting The Schulz Family band.

Anyway. Sorry this is so lengthy but this is the first time I have had a moment to actually blog. So there it is, that is where we are. Have a great week!
