I must clear one thing up boys and girls. I have had many a comment on Zach's not-so-little buns. They are a big topic lately so, I thought we should make it known why they are so fluffy and big. He has been wearing cloth diapers since he was 3 months old and they are quite bulky. Most people just believe he has big buns but that is not the case. They are so lumptuous from his cloth diapers and baby pants haven't caught up to the changing times of cloth.
We rarely find one with out the other.

The other problem we have found is that we have a mystery chew-er. We found our toilet paper unraveled and this was the only trade mark left behind. Was is a gerbil? A mouse? What?

This is the side that faces his room. Considerably less damage.

And this is the other wall, opposite of the door. This is kinda how it started. It looked like a few dings from a toy...but nope. Any advice on this one?
Zach loves to explore and check stuff out. If he can open it, remove it, or climb over it he will! He is happy to play by himself and find things to do. You always know where he has been though. Toys are everywhere. He is like a mini tornado! :) He is also very close to walking. I have no predictions, but who knows what another month will bring. He is very steady and cautious and can be standing, and bend down to get something and get up with one hand. And lately he lets go of stuff without realizing it and then plops down on his buns when he is done. So...who knows. Plus, next month he will be a year already!! How the heck did that happen?

It all came together one day when we saw this. Now mind you, it didn't start like this. At first there were only a few areas that I thought were from Noah and a toy he had given Zach. But one day he was in his crib awake, playing quietly and we walked into this. In some of the areas it is so bad that the wood has split. This is the side of the crib by the door so it got the worst damage. The strangest part, is that he isn't crying or upset, he is contently chewing away at his bed. So odd. He even has horizontal drag marks from his lower teeth as he would drag his head back and forth. I don't even see any new teeth to account for it.

it's a good thing he has such lumptuous buns to fall on during his "nearly walking" stage. You know...my prairie dog used to leave marks like that all over our place. She even destroyed the sleeve on Tim's only suit...better make sure Tony's suits are put away! :)
