Things have been pretty busy as of late. We are in our second week of swimming lessons. It has gone very well. At least better than I thought. The first day I showed up as the only mom in a bathing suit ready to swim with him. I somehow misunderstood the parent-toddler definition. Of course, I did look at soo many swim lesson pages, I could have been thinking of a different place. So they kindly told me to wait at the wall with all the other dressed parents. Noah cried like crazy, but once they got him in he did awesome! He was blowing bubbles, going on magic carpet rides, kicking, pulling himself up on the wall, and doing big jumps off the side. He loved it. Until the very next day, as they were blowing bubbles (motor boats) she dunked him at the same time. Which was a great idea, except for Noah. He instantly lost all trust in her. Especially since she did it again the next day. As we went yesterday, we have a new teacher. Mr. Sean. He is nice. I thought this would be a great opportunity for Noah to rebuild trust. He again cried like crazy when he took him into the water, but the did great. I told Sean about his fear of going under and he basically said to stop mentioning the fear because they will keep trying. He cant run from his fears I guess right? I understand, but at the same time, it seems like Noah is really afraid, not just complaining. So...we will see. Tony is taking my camera in today. I pray this place can fix it quickly and I can get at least one picture of him in the pool. He is so cute in there.
We also celebrated 6 years of marriage yesterday. We have had a great few days though to ourselves. We went to the Big Picture on Friday...so fun, recommend it! Then Saturday we were gone all day for two big weddings, and then we went out last night. What a treat for us! I just do not know where the time goes. We were thinking back on old dates and our wedding and old pictures. It just was days ago that Noah was a baby...really. We are blinking and everyone is growing up!
This is getting long, but just wanted you all to know that we are redecorating some things so we are having a huge garage sale to go out with the old to get some new!! It will be Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd. 9-3. I can guarantee most things will be gone Friday. Mary has emptied out her storage unit of her great decorating things and is selling them. If you want to work out something to see things sooner, just let me know. If you want to sell some things from your house, please do!! Just let me know and we will get it priced and in there. You can raise some money too! Should be so much fun.
I think that is all for now. I hope to give you a picture soon!
