Its a Start!

There are two months of pictures that have yet to be posted. That makes me so sad. Some are on a CD, some on my phone, some that have been emailed to me. Kinda all over. Plus my computer has no space left on the C drive which means on my pics could crash at anytime. This used to be easy, but I have had to pull out my old computer since it has Picasa on it (where all my pics hide) so that I can blog. Meanwhile, the whole time it is telling me warning!!
Either way, back to the important things in life. Here is Noahs first day of school picture. So handsome. I almost forgot to take it as we were running out the door. He has really enjoyed it. And so have I. They had us go on a "nature hike" and pick out leaves, and today he painted a picture with them. In a few weeks they have us going to a farm for a story, cookies, and a pumpkin. Noah asked if there would be chickens there. I said I think so, then he asked if they were the kind that would bite him. Ahh little minds. So it has been great having some fun, family activities that are just his.
This was the start of our 3 day house arrest for Noahs potty training. I love this picture because so many things were happening at once. We were stuffing Noah with liquids, having breakfast, Zach needing to sit at the table with us and have breakfast (no high chairs for him), and also Noahs first puzzle for doing a good job. I have to say, it is time consuming, but we have had great success. Whether it is because he is older than 3 or because we have tried so many other times, but we were prepared for many accidents and they just haven't come. Not even at night or naps. So that has been great. The odd thing now, is to think of him in a diaper. I never thought I would get to this point. Hip Hip!!
Just a sweet Zach. But dont let the face fool ya. We have been in a serious new phase with him. Overnight it seems like tantrums are his new avenue for communication. He also can turn on a dime, from this sweet face, to total drama. It could be that I went in to get him up from nap, but he wanted Tony and it could warrant twenty minutes of wailing and throwing himself around the crib. It is just hard for him to calm down after it starts. So it has been an adventure. He is getting 4 canines in (the ouchy ones), plus he added a cold with it, so I am hoping in a few weeks it will all disappear and he will return to the Zach we know and love. :)

We were told to come up with projects to do with Noah so we could stay close and catch any accidents. So one of our favorites is making cookies. He is quite the baker now. We did have to get out two chairs, one for each boy. Then we have to get out separate bowls and measuring spoons. They end up just stirring flour around, but its fun to do it all together.

And for the great grand finale...doggie in undies. I promise, someday, to get a collection of pictures of the adventures of Noah and doggie. If you have followed our blog at all you would know that Noah takes him everywhere.

Also, we had our first ultrasound of baby C. No signs of what it is yet. Although that leads many to think girl since we found out this time with the boys. The baby is healthy and very active. I am only 3 mo and feel him/her moving all the time. The baby even waved several times. Such a blessing. I think the 3rd time may be a charm because it was just surreal to see this life. I feel great. In fact, there are times I forget I am pregnant. If it weren't for this tummy...I am running and swimming, but my body goes straight into baby mode. Which is good I guess. But the fatigue and nausea are totally gone. So I can eat less and skip naps. So I am much more productive with my time. The house took a hit for a while. But there are no cravings and things have kinda just gone back to normal. We will get to find out what it is in December. But as you can tell from this post, I do suffer from pregnancy brain(hense the reason for the randomness)...it is real and terrible. I forget that burners are on, which exit to take, and sometimes where I was driving. I enter rooms and forget why I am there. No fun...it is funny later, but makes the day a bit crazier!
So that is our update!! Yay for pictures. I now need to download the pictures to a safe place to free up space so you can see our day at the pumpkin patch!
