Welcome Sadie Jane Schulz!

Finally! We can tell you the story of our precious little girl Sadie!
She kept us guessing for weeks! The final four days were the craziest though, with constant contractions and even a false alarm. We ended up walking around the hospital for 3 hours trying to get admitted. Which was a very close call, until the contractions totally died out. I even had my mom and Kim with me and had to send them both home. The next day the contractions were even stronger but I was afraid to go in and they ended up dying out. Then on Thursday, they got even stronger but we kept going and went to dinner with Tonys parents. By 8, I felt tired and wanted to go home. Once home, I was on all fours dealing with the contractions and Tony was once again packing the bags. I still didnt believe anything of it, just thought they were stronger than before. I was praying for a clear sign of when to go in since the false alarm. Then, of course they die out. We got about an hour of sleep until I woke again with another hour or so of strong contractions. I just wanted a bit more sleep since by this time it was midnight. I did sleep a bit more and woke up to my water breaking. Talk about a clear sign! It was 2:45 am and we called in the troops and headed out. I was very calm and felt very ready.
So here is the before picture...always have to get that belly. Dang!!

We really didnt have a chance to get many "during" pictures, but we were surrounded with family the entire time. All the grandmas, Kim, and Tony. So wonderful. She was born at 1:02 pm. I am surprised at how long a 3rd labor can take.
Oh yeah, she was also 8.8 oz! The boys were 8.7, at least we are consistent right?!

Right after...

Very tired, but very thrilled.

The amazing thing was how alert she was! From the moment she came out. Amazing.

Bath at the hospital...

Then she fell asleep on the warming table, without being wrapped. I just cant believe how long she is! 21.5 inches! How does that fit inside someone?!

The first bath at home...she was not happy about it!

Some rest time...

Pretty in pink! The next morning.
(hate it when these get out of order!)

The visit from the big brothers. Things are good with them. Noah wants to hold her every minute like we thought, and Zach is getting a bit tired of her. He wants her "down" or "out" of the baby carrier. He does miss time with me and I am really seeing how I am needed by all three, and cant be there all at the same time. Hard reality check.

Proud brother!
