It has been a while since my last post which is why this is a super big one. Gonna just get it out in one shot! I also downloaded the pictures in backwards order...just further proves how long it has been!
Our latest and greatest adventure was in Pullman. We packed up the kids and Grandma and headed out. Here is Tony with his two cousins. There is one missing and they have all attended WSU. It was beautiful. I guess I thought it was going to be run down but it was stunning. So we said hi, then left Tony and our two other guy friends and they all headed to the game. It was 27 degrees out and windy...way to cold for me!
Side view. Layers, color...
We then ate at Cougar Country. I hate to say it, but SO super yummy. I usually just get a garden burger but decided to splurge and get a kids burger. Totally worth it! I even ate some of Zach's. It like a kid valley and dicks all in one. Perfect! Of course Tony went in wearing this ensemble...never embarrassed or ashamed. Which is fine since we won!!! Go Dawgs!
The Bird and I...Zach took this shot.
The other table. It was totally packed and we took up two tables...oops!
While the whole weekend was an adventure, the sledding from the backyard was the best. Yes, I said backyard. It was breathtaking. Unreal almost. Our friends, who we went with, her parents own all this land. Over 800 acres! Honest! So it was a dream land. No neighbors, just hills and snow kissed mountains to keep us company.
We were lacking in the sleds department, so Garin and his brother Jordan got very creative. Hence the plastic bag...it was a success believe it or not.
Then came the random stop sign. Also a huge Clark Griswold success. Took a few shots to realize the front needed to be held up, but then it flew baby!
Look how small Noah looks. It was just vast and huge. Major grown up play ground.
Again, down that same hill...
This was on our drive in I believe. We left at 10:30 and with 3 brief stops got there at 4:30. Long day but the kids were totally amazing. Thank you DVD player!
Grandma, kids and a long drive!
Also on our way in. In person, the grey clouds were super dark and the light was really light and it was reflecting off the water...so pretty.
Onto other things, Noah has been wanting to take pictures also. I posted this because you can kinda see two of her front teeth coming through. She ended up with a fever on our trip and it lasted 3 days. I finally took her in and while she does have some fluid in her ears, its mainly just teething related. Which makes since because all 4 of her uppers are making their way through.
Here is the wonderful advent tree that Grandma Mary made. She has started a tradition of having a small gift for them each day of December to get them in the Christmas mood. They LOVE it! This day they got buzz and woody ornaments. Which broke only moments after this. I forgot to tell them that they were breakable. Such a bummer because I liked these ones.
Snagged Santa pictures with my camera. Its blurry because I was snapping fingers and yelling, I mean telling Zach to look up and smile. This is our 7th year with this Santa. Tony and I went when it was just us, then with Spencer, now with kids.
He was so nice to take a few seconds to talk with the boys.
Tis the season. I just got Zach doing this last night. They put the hats on themselves and we find them like this when we tuck them in before we go to bed. Pretty cute.
We have 4 Christmas trees in our house this year. Totally pitiful but it is nice to have the house sparkling and in the spirit of things. This is the boys. It has been a bit disastrous since they have taken MANY toys off of it and also pulled it over a few times. But, we are still glad its there. It lights their room all night long.
The day we decorated the house, Tony's parents took the boys overnight. Miss Sadie went to bed like a champ and I had her pink sparkle tree on. It was very sweet to have her room lit up and glowing while she slept peacefully in her bed.
Here is the tree we have this year. We cut about 4 feet off of it and now it fits great. It is so hard to figure out size in the forest. I mean really...
Here is Tony pulling up our Schulz family tree for this year.
Noah was a big help. He enjoys finding one and asks lots of questions about the process...
The boys before the cutting began. And Zach with the super sharp saw. Yes, we are those parents.
Sadie being a super champ in the Ergo carrier.
