Merry Christmas!

I have attempted this post 2 other times. Each time, it takes me about an hour. To organize the pictures and write something wonderful. Each time, the computer refuses to save it and then deletes. So there are some fun pictures missing that I just did not go back to get. Because at this point, I want to move on and post the newest ones. So, here we go lucky number 3.
Zach is such a busy boy sometimes at night when we put him to bed. And each time we go in to say goodnight, its kind of exciting. What will Zach have done? And this time, it was just a sweet Santa hat. A few times ago, he had gotten a box of band aids and pasted them all over Noah's doggies while he slept.

Zach felt Noah should have a hat too. Even if it was Sadies and a touch to small.

We also had Noahs fun Christmas concert. We always enjoy doing this. He loves it and each year we see how young he was with the other class and how big he will be next year with the older kids.

Noah and Papa having some one on one time in the back.

Miss Sadie Jane is getting quite big now. She is 8 1/2 months. And growing so fast. She has all 4 teeth in on top and two on bottom. She is a mover but isnt quite crawling on her knees. She shifts and shimmies on her tummy with her little feet like propellers. A few times we have caught her pulling herself up on things too.

She also loves this green box o' toys. She digs through it happily until she finds paper. She always finds the paper to eat. She also spreads out the toys everywhere. Thankfully, I just put them all back in the green box.

Lastly, she totally loves baths! In fact, I love them because she loves them so much. Usually she has two others in the bath with her, but it doest matter. She goes into her happy place and smiles, and shimmiess all over. I laugh every time.

The boys have been quite creative lately. Since Zach is on an every other day nap thing, they have so much more time to play. And this day, Zach got a hair cut. Notice the comb that has the hair coming through it, and the brush that goes over it to cut it.

If you are wondering, those are crawling tubes on Zach. Big ones, from Costco. But today, they were his apron. Two of them in fact.

Speaking of naps, this was a rare sight. Noah has totally stopped naps. Unless we are in the car around 1. Otherwise, no go. He doesnt want a movie, or books, or his new leapster game. He wants to just be with me. But at this moment, at 3:30 pm, he gave in.

We also ventured over to Kirby and Jenny's house for some Christmas festivities. It went so well. Food and family and Christmas. Heck yes.
Sadie and Grandpa Doug matching!

I wanted to get at least one picture of Jill before baby girl Kreeck arrived. She is due 1/11/11. Isnt that wonderful! Its only a few weeks away. I have a better copy of this that I tweaked, but again, some photo's didnt make it to the 3 round.

Noah got his leapster. Or his "DSI" which is a game boy thing for older kids. That is what most of his friends have, so that is what we said it is. He has enjoyed pretending to know what to do on it.

Later that night we went to Christmas Eve service with Mary and then came back for Thai food take out and gift mania. It was so much fun. Always way over the top, but it was so great watching the boys really get into it this year.

Then we jammied the boys and put out the cookies and milk for Santa. Noah was super sad we didnt have carrots for the reindeer, but he was ok knowing they could share Santa's cookies.

You would think I took this picture to show the decor and stuffed stalkings, but really, its to show that Im a nerd, and forgot little trinkets for Tonys. So his is bare. I felt horrible! He took it like a champ, but this will be the last year that happens. If you know Tony at all, he LOVES gifts. So we laughed hard as I took this picture.

ok, just as I get to the end of this blog, I accidentally deleted two of my favorite shots from Christmas morning. I tell ya, I am on mars people. I even forgot my camera for my dad and jolis Christmas party and they even had real live carolers! But Noah woke up at 3:30 and managed to not go downstairs somehow, and go back until 6:15. I was happy with that. So we opened a few more and had breakfast and then went over to the Schulz's party. I may have a few shots from there.

Firemen. So glad we are safe!

To top it all off, when Tony cut the tree in pieces, this is what we found. In the tree...in our house! For over a month!!! I think it explains our life right about now. Crazy and unpredictable. But we are thankful. Because even when you find a nest in your Christmas tree, you can stop and see in the detail of it, how amazing it all is. I mean, how do they twist twigs to make this? So we appreciate our crazy stuff and move on.

And lastly, this blog has always centered around the kids. Thats where my life is, but I may pop up here and there as I have decided to cross off a challenge from my bucket list. A half marathon. It sounds so daunting, but I am well equipped. Tony and Mary went in to get me an iPhone. It has more apps and songs and thingies to motivate even the laziest person. So I will keep you all posted as I take on this journey. Tony is going to do it with me and we have a few friends also.
So hello 2011! We are ready for you!
