Brotherly Love

The saga of holding baby Sadie continues. It isnt everyday. We get clumps of days where it is important. This time though both boys wanted to hold her and it was getting complicated. But she is very patient with them for the most part. Especially Zach.
Noah is becoming quite the parent though. He knows what she needs and wants. He is more than happy to tell Zach what to do...and if he doesnt comply, well..then Zach gets a time out. Many times I hear myself saying to him "Noah Im right here. I will be the parent and you be the big brother."

Noah graciously sharing Sadie.
Seconds later Noah grabbed this baby toy to help sooth her, but Zach decided it made a better camera and forgot all about her. I was laughing at how hard he had worked to get Noah to give her over and once he got her he was onto the next thing. So typical.

He kept saying "say eez" (say cheese!)

More soothing...

More pictures to be had.

Say eez!! Her face is almost saying, "seriously mom, can you just take me now?"

Noah had his first big tee ball game on Sat. They will be every Saturday for the next 6 weeks. Noah has Tony's clip board and is pretending to read the line up.

Its hard to see, but Tony has them running the bases for warm up. I was at the top of the hill because a majority of the field is soup and mud. So gross. So my pictures aren't all that wonderful. But to get Zach and Sadie and a stroller down the hill was to big of a task for me that morning.

Noah with his snacks after the game. He actually did great. He hit the ball well and what really surprised us was he went running for the balls and threw them in. Even one time beating out two other kids. This sport has less contact and less mud than soccer so we will see which one he prefers. I wouldnt mind being a baseball mom!

Sadie has been such a trooper through it all. She slept most of the game. Part in the stroller, part on me. It was super windy and I just had to hold her tight to keep us warm. Once we all got home I put her in the moses basket to get lunches going and she was out.

I didnt alter this picture at all. I just find it breath-taking.

I thought it was quite comical to see these two napping. The house was practically on fire with tantrums and lunch being thrown since it was close to 2 o'clock and these two hit the sack with all that going on.

So glad to see the first signs of spring. Here is our first wonderful daisy!

Here is all the muddy feet. I was so upset when I took this. I am letting them play and be dirty and dig, but never did I think my house would be sooo messy after. They always know to take shoes off. But today, the day of dirt, we happen to forget. Even the porch outside was covered in dirt. Even when they came in and I mopped, they went back out later and this happened all over again. Trying to be open to the extra effort for dirty fun, but it is taking some time. :)

Here is sweet Sadie and I at the zoo. More of those later. She is just easy and happy and glad to do whatever.

A moment between these two. Noah talks to here and tells her how cute she is. Obviously repeating all he hears us say, but its pretty cute when he thinks no one is listening.

I then caught him putting his hand up for her sneeze. But even she was all done with it, he kept his hand up. I asked him a few times what he was doing and he said he was blocking the bless you's. Funny guy.
