Zach's 2 and Sadie's 2 months

It has been almost magical having her around. I keep saying she is my sunshine. When the days are hard and long, she smiles. It melts me. Great sleeper, great car rider (so far), great eater...the list goes on. She coo's and goo's with the best of 'em, especially if you have locked eyes. She giggles and laughs when she hears herself. She is an ultimate snuggler and although in her own bed, she loves coming into ours around 5. She amazes me and I cannot wait to watch her continue to grow into our family.
I snagged this shot to show how well she holds her head up but loved it for many other reasons too. I wonder if we are starting to look alike...kind of a long shot I know.

Here are some other random pictures of her sparkling personality. She is incredibly patient with the boys and our schedule. This was at Red Robin for Zachs birthday bash.

I got this to show how long she is. People..this baby is only 8 weeks old! What?! She looks 3 months to me.

Such a love.

Another head holding shot.

Blurry front view. This was when I was sorting through all of her clothes that she has grown out of. I hate to admit it, but she is in 3-6 mo clothes.

Now onto my Zach-o. I snapped a couple of fun shots the other day just to capture this time. It is going WAY, WAY to fast. I still remember his 1st like it was yesterday. *sniff*. He is such a love. He says tons of two worded sentences. Like: Baby down, amma up, buzz fly, boody hat, no mine. For some reason he calls me amma mamma. Which I think is sweet of course. He has had a rough time with his 2 year molars and expressing himself. The baby has been a huge adjustment, but he is learning to love her. He loves to build and stack and figure out cameras and cell phones. He is totally fearless and will do anything Noah says.

The eyes are what make discipline hard to do sometimes..

Since we had the big bday bash at the beach we did a low key dinner at R and R with the grandparents.

The boys did awesome. Especially since they had presents to open!

Noah being a ham.

Sadie being perfect.

Sharing in Zachs excitement of his buzz light year. They both are kinda obsessed right now. They have both movies and Tonys 30 yr old buzz. So Zach has his own now. Which doesnt really solve anything since Zachs is new and improved.

His head moves and he glows in the dark with a few extra blinking lights.

When the dessert came, Zach sat stunned for several seconds. I couldn't get my camera ready fast enough to catch his excitement.

This morning was a bit calmer with two buzz's to play with.

So I am trying to live life with a new type of reckless abandon. I hear myself telling the kids no all day long. I wish I wasn't so stingy. So I started to try to seize the day a bit. So after a long hard morning I decided after naps it would be time for ice cream. They were shocked and thrilled. Noah kept asking "why". I kept saying "why not".
Ice cream happiness.

Showing me his spoon instead of smiling.

I decided to let them play in the rain and get wet and muddy. Zach loves it...but Noah just wants Zach to get him toys while he stands on the sidelines.

I have several other pictures to show but I think this covers it for now. The house is a mess and the kids are out of control, but at least the blog is posted!
