Happy 30th!!

Well, the twins are 30! Yikes! How did this happen? We met at a fun little restaurant in Bothell with my mom and Doug and Chris and Mary, plus the 3 kids. Good food, conversation, and celebration. Hard to believe in a few days she will be in Colorado and I will be in Vegas, but at least we stopped for a night to eat!

Sadie bird and I waiting in the car right before dinner. It was pouring out and we were 30 minutes early...go figure.

Zach wearing a ribbon with Grandpa.

Tony and I got a date night. Man it was a total blast. It was raining off and on and by the time we had to walk a few miles back to the car we were soaked! We went with a few other couples and no kids. So much fun!

The other day I took the kiddos out for some pictures. It never goes all that well, usually they are fighting about something. Who is holding Sadie, who's turn is it next, who touched who, but there is something that comes out of it all. Im not sure what, but something good.

She is so funny, she was basically falling with a smile.

I'm not sure why some of these are grainy, I am still trying to figure out the settings, but she just hung out and watched the boys play soccer. At one point everyone but her and I were crying. Zach got hit in the face with a ball by Noah, then Noah got hit in the face by me. It was all quite exiting, but she was very un phased by it all.

Which reminds me...she is 6 months!!!! Her two lower little teeth are showing through and she is pretty stable when sitting up. She definitely knows when I am not in the room. She just recognizes who is around. She also loves cause and effect. She spits with her tongue, gets people laughing...she smiles and starts all over. Its pretty cute. Anywho, she does love to eat, but isnt a huge fan of rice cereal. I mean she likes the spoons and mushing everything out of her mouth, but I wouldn't say she was a huge fan.

Last Saturday....notice Zach's pj's? He is getting very attached to his pj's!

And the arm. He has had the cast off for 2 weeks now! This was the morning of as he and Daddy were leaving.

Tony took all of these since I was home with the other two. They ask that you don't bring siblings so I sat at home. But this is the beautiful Bellevue Childrens hospital. Amazing!

We have heard a few stories about when you get it off, but Zach was still un phased by it all. Just sat and watched. (again, notice the spider man pj's poking through?)

Right as the cast was taken off.

Cast free!!! Still not sure about the whole cast thing and now no cast thing. It has been a challenge to keep him from jumping or being on anything with wheels. In fact, the form says, no rough play. Hmmm. But so far so good. We go back at the 6 week mark for a final x-ray. It will be by God's grace alone if this heals 100%!
