I couldn't tell you of all the things that have been going on around here, but there have been so many things I haven't had time to blog. I haven't had time to even check others blogs. Which is sad, because this is my time line of events that I can easily look back on. It is sort of my memory. I also have my wonderful camera and phone that take pictures so I have to download two things now...which just requires that much more organization and time to sift through the photos. So I haven't done it. Thankfully, not much has been missed. I will give you the brief update to tide you over until I get the other pictures downloaded.
The boys really are best pals. They cheer when one gets to come out of time out...then they hug. Noah lets Zach play "yee-haws" on his back. They play dogs. They hit and fight. They encourage the other to jump off the top stair. In fact, Tony and I say that if they were ever able to get their own room, they wouldn't. So together they go in "to get" Sadie Jane. She thrives on their kisses and hugs and good mornings. Its very sweet. You will notice how Noah is dressed while everyone else is in Pj's...that's Noah in a nut shell. Prepared.
Thinking around 100 or so...why in the world are they all over the bed?
Because that is what Zach-o does when its bedtime. He putz's. He redoes things. Happily. In his room. For 2 or more hours. On this night, I asked Tony to do one last check since I was snuggled all up in my bed. And before I knew it, I was quietly, energetically, being asked to look. So, Zach spent much time taking every single book off his shelf and putting it on his bed. We were holding our sides laughing so hard. At least he left a small spot to sleep.
They never stop making me laugh. Oh the things they come up with...
We also have had extra time with our friends. The gal at the end, is of course, Regan. We pick her up for school and they see each other multiple times a week. We are talking like 5x a week. They ALWAYS ask for each other. Everyday. Its a bit of an idol for sure. But we have enjoyed them. I have had several Dr's and dentist appts and so has Jess..(her mom). So lately we see a lot of them. And everyone loves it...
Playing baseball...We love our backyard. So much space to run and play. Its darn cold, but no one seems to care.
This is Sadie Jane's new favorite game. Pulling out all the plastic bags. It took me a while, but I finally just moved the boxes.
This also is her new favorite thing. With her excitement, she screams. The girl has some pipes. She does not hesitate to use them.
And this one should go here, and this one here....
During a check up appt, guess who we ran into? Miss Olivia. Jills little one. Well, according to Jill she is now big because she is a whole 7 pds.
Sadie has moved into her new car seat. Well, this was Zachs. But Zach now has Noah's and Noah is in a booster. So we sort of just rotated. She loves it. She isnt a year yet but is well over 20 pds, so I flip 'em early.
Here she is doing her "YAY" pose. Its now a signature move for her.
And here is what I believe is the last and final nap Noah will ever take. He doesn't take them anymore. But occasionally he will be so tired, that I can convince him to. Much bribing at times. The hard part is, that he just wont take one, but still really could use one. On the other hand, Zach has decided (since quiting pacifiers) to no longer take a nap. He just cant settle himself down enough. So at 2.5 he is also done. Which is ok because he doesn't get as cranky as Noah does, so I let him stay up and play. It has been kind of nice because we aren't as strapped down by naps, but hard also to have them going all day. Needless to say the entire house is sleeping and quiet by 7:30.
Some may know that my sister Ali has had some surgery with a huge complication. She is in ICU now but doing good. She had a shunt replaced which is a tube that helps drain fluid. She has had it for 20 years. That went great. Until 2 weeks later it became infected and she was in critical condition. So yesterday they removed it all and are waiting for the staph infection to clear. Then it seems they will try again. It is hard to know what caused the infection in the first place, so we are just praying the operation goes smoothly again, but this time without complication.
I also have found a cure for my headaches. They have become very frequent and painful, so after seeing my naturopath, she recommended a Chiropractor. I am in heaven. He found that I have Scoliosis. My spine looks like a snake. Its not straight. Which pulls on my shoulder and neck muscles and in turn gives me headaches. I have loved him and his care. My two other concerns were also taken care of with this discovery which are: Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (numbness in my arms and hands), and lower back pain. So now I am off to continue running and training. I have hit the 9 mile mark and just love it. In fact, that day I just kept finding new streets to take and roads to travel. I ran out of time (tony had kids that morning) and resources. No more water or shot blocks to keep my sugar levels even. So I turned in. What an amazing feeling. I'm looking forward to continuing!
Well that's us in a nut shell! I hope to post more soon!
