Boys will be Boys

I have LOVED this amazing weather. I could live in the crispy, somewhat warmer weather all year round. The leaves are beautiful. No special clothing needed. No sunblock or bathing suits and no gloves, hats and warm jackets. It's perfect.
My kids may disagree though. I had to do some major convincing for Noah to go out. I think he knew I was shooing him out of the kitchen for a moment to clean, but it was to beautiful to not enjoy. Finally, I talked him into reading books outside, and this is how far he got. But it was such a sweet moment when Noah was reading to Zach.

Finally Noah got a bit creative and ran around on his "horse".

This got complicated, but they loved it. I went outside and read for a bit and soaked in the Vitamin D.

But here is our sad news. Hopefully this picture isnt too graphic. I hate seeing it. But in case you cant tell, these are 5 staples. On Zach. He did it again. And once again involved a ladder. But this was a little kiddie one that was on a little kiddie slide. He was trying to get his feet under him but his shoe got stuck and he fell back into a ledge on a wall at our friends house. He cried, it bled, but then he was back to playing. The bleeding stopped. Totally. The gash was a bit gnarly but I couldn't tell if it needed attention because every thing seemed fine. I had Tony take him in at the last second and sure enough it was needed. Zach was a champ yet again. He did care for the numbing process but after that did great. So we are waking him every few hours to check for a concussion, and keeping it lubed and clean and after 7 days he gets them out.
Im not so sure I signed up for this kinda stuff!
